Our microwave experience and specialized attention to detail ensures that networks are designed correctly for reliability and availability. We engineer to at least 5 x 9s reliability or better. We strive for link budgets of greater than 30 dB. We engineer network redundancy and protection with ring configurations and or hot standby radios for spur paths. We design redundant networks for effortless switching from primary to backup equipment ensuring operational continuity. In the case of integrated MPLS networking, we design mission critical service.

Microwave Networks has built thousands of mission critical microwave radio communication networks.
Upon receiving a purchase order for a network, we assign an experienced microwave program manager (PM) to the project. The PM is responsible for execution of the project from customer communications, factory staging, factory acceptance, organizing documentation, scheduling installation, and supervising installation until the field acceptance. Often, customers visit our factory in Stafford, Texas to witness factory acceptance testing and receive training.

Warranty Repair Services
As part of our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, Microwave Networks guarantees every product we manufacture against defects in materials and workmanship for two years. Failures to products within that time will be repaired under our standard
warranty repair and RMA procedure at one of our global repair depots to ensure quick repair and available parts for emergencies.
For repairs, customers call the Customer Service Department for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number, package the equipment, write the RMA number on the package, and ship the package to the repair depot address given to you by our customer support personnel. The average turnaround time for regular repairs is less than 30 days.
For emergency replacement through Microwave Networks’ exchange program, we will ship a module when available, on loan, within two days.

Every customer receives the 2-Year Standard Warranty when they buy equipment from Microwave Networks.The 3-Year Extended Warranty gives you an extra of year of hassle-free repair. Customers can buy 3-Year Extended Warranty for a nominal fee. It is an insurance policy that avoids costly out-of-warranty repair and minimizes administrative paperwork for an extra year beyond the standard warranty.The 5-Year Super Warranty saves you money. It is an investment that reduces repair costs from three to five years, paying for itself overtime. By making a nominal 5-Year Warranty investment when you buy Microwave Networks equipment, you can avoid costly out-of warranty repairs, administrative hassles, and aggravation, reducing long-term operational budgets and ensuring smooth and reliable operations.The Life-Time Warranty is a custom warranty that extends the warranty program for the life of your Microwave Networks equipment.

Fundamentals of Microwave Radio
Overview:
The Fundamentals for Microwave Radio is an introductory course designed for those who are new to microwave radio communications. This course is conducted by a certified Microwave Network instructor with extensive practical field experience.
Objective:
Understand basic concepts of microwave radio operations, essential parts of microwave radio systems and microwave communications applications
Prerequisites:
Entry level course, student should have basic understanding of radio communications and data networking.
Networking Fundamentals and Cyber Security
Overview:
The Networking Fundamentals and Cyber Security is an introductory course for anyone new to networking and looking to understand the basics. This course is conducted by certified Microwave Network instructor with extensive practical field experience.
Objective:
Understand basic networking concepts in Ethernet LANs, routing, IP addressing, WAN technologies and Transport Layer protocols
Prerequisites:
Entry level course, student should have basic understanding of digital electronics.
Proteus MX/MXD Operations & Maintenance – 1 Day
Overview:
The Proteus MX / MXD Operations and Maintenance course is an instructor lead theory and hands on training class. Along with theory of operations the students will work on a Proteus radio link on equipment configuration and troubleshooting. This course is conducted by certified Microwave Network instructor with extensive practical field experience.
Objective:
Upon completion of the course the student will understand the Proteus MX / MXD operations and work with the Element Manager to configure, provision and troubleshoot radio.
Prerequisites:
Completion of Fundamental of Microwave Radio course or understanding of following:
- Basic microwave systems operations
- Basic RF knowledge: modulation, propagation, power and signal measurements
- Fundamentals of networking
MX/MDX Installation and Commissioning
Overview:
The Proteus MX / MXD Installation and Commissioning course is an instructor lead theory and hands on training class. Along with best practice installation standards the students will work on a Proteus radio link on equipment configuration and commissioning. This course is conducted by certified Microwave Network instructor with extensive practical field experience.
Objective:
Upon completion of the course the student will be proficient with installation standards and commissioning a Proteus series microwave radio and work with the Element Manager to configure, provision and troubleshoot the radio.
Prerequisites:
Student needs to have successful completed the following courses along with good understanding of radio communications and data networking.

Proteus UMX Operation, Maintenance, and Installation
Overview:
The Proteus UMX Operation, Maintenance and Installation course is an instructor lead theory and hands on training class. Along with theory of operations the students will work on a Proteus radio link on equipment configuration and troubleshooting. This course is conducted by certified Microwave Network instructor with extensive practical field experience.
Objective:
Upon completion of the course the student will understand the Proteus UMX operations and work with the Link Manager to configure, provision and troubleshoot the radio.
Prerequisites:
Completion of Fundamental of Microwave Radio course or understanding of following:
- Basic microwave systems operations
- Basic RF knowledge: modulation, propagation, power and signal measurements
- Fundamentals of networking
Proteus OIP Operation, Maintenance, and Installation
Overview:
The Proteus OIP Operation, Maintenance and Installation course is an instructor lead theory and hands on training class. Along with theory of operations the students will work on a Proteus radio link on equipment configuration and troubleshooting. This course is conducted by certified Microwave Network instructor with extensive practical field experience.
Objective:
Upon completion of the course the student will understand the Proteus OIP operations and work with the Element Manager to configure, provision and troubleshoot the radio.
Prerequisites:
Completion of Fundamental of Microwave Radio course or understanding of following:
- Basic microwave systems operations
- Basic RF knowledge: modulation, propagation, power and signal measurements
- Fundamentals of networking
Network Management Systems
Overview:
The Network Management System course provides theory and hands on training on Microwave Networks’ Network Management System (NMS). The course includes classroom lectures and practical exercises. During the course students will use the Element Manager to configure, monitor, and trouble shoot radios. This course is conducted by certified Microwave Network instructor with extensive practical field experience.
Objective:
Upon completion of the course, technicians will understand the Network Management System and work with the Element Manager to configure, provision and troubleshoot the radio.
Prerequisites:
Completion of Fundamental of Microwave Radio course along with the completion of a Proteus course as it relates to the students radio requirement
